Scale the Summit of Identification with Immortality

This excerpt is from a dictation by El Morya published in the 1965 Pearl of Wisdom Vol. 8 No. 28.

To know oneself is not always to probe the depths of subconscious memory but to scale the summit of identification with immortality. To preserve one’s shadows is not necessary when facing the light. Leave them behind; for while they lengthen as the sun goes down, they diminish each hour from the rising. Remember the zenith, for then the light of the Presence stands directly overhead. It is the Sun of man’s being, that luminous orb wherein the precious treasures of heaven are deposited, that releases the correct vibratory action into the world of men.

At times even the myopic ones make the best travelers along the perilous pathway. When they arrive upon the mountaintop to encamp, they sometimes do so with discontentment of spirit. Such as these enjoy the climb and the pursuit of virtue more than they do the finding thereof. Men of normal vision are fortunate, for their perspective is blessed with balance. The spinning wheel of life has turned out the nubbed threads*, and the garment cannot be of greater refinement than the thread. When the thread of consciousness is refined, the clean linen can be woven upon the loom.

The wise see our abode as one of Spirit and, in fearlessness, they save their own lives. The worthy masons see in the placing of each brick the shining of celestial spires, raised stone upon stone. Perfidy yawns like a pinching chasm to break the bones; it is the chinks in men’s armor that must be guarded. The whirling follies of others seem as nebbishes** of ridicule to some, while their own creations pass unnoticed. How shall we scale Olympian heights with the spirit of injustice? The herdsman extended a rough arm, clad with homespun cloth, and it was rejected by the climber, who fell upon the rocks of pride.

The shining of the pure in heart
Is like a light upon the hill—
It illumines the earth with good will,
It is fragrant like the pine upon the hill,
Whose solitary vigil
Through the lonely hours of each night,
Drinks in the mellow tenderness of each day’s sun,
And calmly awaits the blowing away
Of the covering clouds.

Let us journey on!

*nubbed thread is a rough thread that causes variations in the feel of a fabric, versus a smooth thread.
**From the Yiddish word “nebech,” colloquially used for an ineffectual, timid, unlucky or hapless person.

We Can Lever the Earth

This article was written before “Lifelong Commitment” and is not in chronological sequence. The same applies to some – not all – of the next few articles. Things are just happening too fast.

In fact, taking a stand and making a commitment put an end to the “disorientation” discussed here.

As we contemplate or assume roles that have global sweep and implications, we may find ourselves nearly swimming with the disorientation that results.

Much of that disorientation will result from vasanas (or core issues) going off triggered by the new responsibilities, new surroundings, new friends, unknown protocols, mistakes we make, etc.

Some of them could be ancient, ancient vasanas connected to the simplest of mistakes. Take losing something. The earliest memory I have of being hit was because I lost something.

So when I lose something now, I’m more rigid than most people. I doggedly go about finding it so I won’t have to report that I lost it and get hit. My reactive behavior pattern is conditioned. It arises out of the vasana.

When our attention is off ourselves, off our feelings, off our thoughts because we’re onstage in a public way, that’s a good time for vasanas to go off.  They arise undetected if our attention is occupied elsewhere, especially on important business.

And we’ll have to manage them now without the leeway we once had.  Without the time. Without the support. On the fly, so to speak. The more portable I can make my life, the better; the simpler, easier, and less complicated – all better – to leave me room for always-needed “personal work.”

Much more will be expected of us. We’ll have to, as Paul said, put aside childish things – or what we do won’t wash.

I’m to continue writing, even while shepherding several projects. According to the Boss, that doesn’t change. And it’s my passion anyways.

For most of us, things will now hinge on how well we work with our vasanas – and our conditioned behavior fashioned out of them. Now a lot rides on how well we perform while reactivated. A great deal. I would say: Critical. (And, believe me, I’d be lucky if I got passing grades here. But it doesn’t change anything.)

The Arcturians through Sue Lie said to me that we’ll need to be masters of every thought and feeling. Another way of putting that is that we’ll have to be bigger than our thoughts and feelings and that takes a lot of clearing.

If we haven’t dropped our masks by now, the constructed self, or the performance that we try to be, things may become chaotic. We’re not meant to bring our masks with us. They were a feature of life in 3D and have no place in 5D, Everyone there is telepathic anyways. There’s no hiding in 5D.

The Illuminati were totally constructed selves. Moreover, the majority of people on the planet seem to be still busy chasing the look, doing the walk, having a  clever retort, etc.

But not us. We’re the mirror opposite. We’re pulling out of that whole way of being as one would pull a sweater over one’s head.

We’ve shed the constructed the self. We’ve dropped the slick lines learned from movies or RAP songs. We’ve let go of the comebacks and putdowns and all the other carefully-staged performances. We’ve dropped them altogether. We’ve stopped. We’re after bigger outcomes.

We speak a neutral language (Perro) when we need to. When it’s appropriate, we speak from the heart (Saedor). Either way, we deal only in the truth, spoken with love.

That’s a high bar, but we’re standing on the right spot here. If we just pull together, we can lever the Earth.

Prajnaparamita Sutra

Thank you all for your beautiful responses.
As I was writing in response I thought of you all…
and how precious you are to me.
So here is something we can all do together, and doing it together creates a special timeless bond, a collective consciousness that is a priceless treasure as we travel this path together.

Thought for this week

Try exploring your own unique way of bringing love and wisdom to something you do regularly every day.

It could be as simple as walking through the gate each morning, or opening the computer to check your emails or waking your kids up in the morning.

Try adding a mindful or heartful word or phrase to this to bring your mind and heart home like “May you be happy” or “Love” or your own inspiration.

You say the word or phrase (like “love”) in your mind (not out loud) and endeavor in that moment to bring the state of “love” into your mind and heart.

You do that every time you do that activity you have chosen. It is easy if you remember to ‘stop, pause, breathe’ just before you say that word in your mind.

It should inspire you and remind you how unique you are and how much you can offer this world.

Practice it every day for a week.

If you forget to do it when, for example, you are opening your computer, be kind to yourself, don’t beat yourself up! Instead, notice that you have forgotten and use that to help you learn about your mind in that moment. Perhaps you were a little rushed or stressed 🙂 That is a great insight. That stressful feeling is the mud out of which the lotus flower of calmness and peace grows in your heart.

Enjoy your week!

Since this is something we could all do together, please feel free to share what you are doing.

My wife is pausing each time she goes through a doorway and bringing love to mind and heart.
I am pausing each time I go on particular walks and bringing Our Blessed Mother and the Heart Sutra into my mind and heart.

The Heart Sutra also known as the Prajnaparamita Sutra or the Heart Sutra or The Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom Sutra begins…
The Blessed Mother, the Heart of the Perfection of Wisdom
or in Sanskrit
Bhagavati Prajna Paramita Hridaya

As many of you know, the syllable that arose in my heart some time ago at the call of Our Mother, was Hri or Hrih or Hridaya, the Bijakshara Seed Syllable of Amitabha Buddha and Avalokiteshvara in the Tibetan Tradition and Guan Yin in the Chinese Tradition. HRIH symbolically represents HIM/HER.

You carry the golden flame of enlightenment within you.

Let it shine.

This is the mantra of the Heart Sutra, the Prajnaparamita Sutra, the Sutra of the Blessed Mother.
