Daily Angel Oracle Card: Forest Labyrinth, from the Chronicles Of Destiny Fortune Cards, by Josephine Ellershaw and Emily Ellershaw, artwork by Claudia McKinney
The Moral Of The Story Is: “Making a choice. Considering options, a decision is required.”
“As guests gather for another evening of revelry, the Seeker slips unnoticed into the cover of the enchanted forest that surrounds the castle. At each turn they are confronted by an intricate maze of shadowy pathways that disappear further into the dark canopy of muffled silence. With no time for hesitation, the Seeker must make a choice, realizing there is no other options unless they wish to remain and accept their fate. They grasp the note tightly and hope their heart leads them in the right direction, aware that others now rely upon them.”
Card Definition: “The Seeker swings the lamp behind them so the path ahead is not clearly lit, and they peer down various passageways that look the same.
This is often our dilemma when confronted by a choice, as we cannot see what lies further ahead or the outcome of the decision we need to make. There can also be a sense of urgency when a decision is required and these factors combined tend to create a quandary or fear in making the ‘right’ choice. If you are faced with this type of situation, then try to consider that it is more beneficial to have options rather than a fait accompli, which may not be to your liking, or that there are no wrong choices really, just different consequences. In this regard, the Alternate Realities Spread may also be useful to you in exploring the potential outcome of your options.
The Forest Labyrinth card indicates having options and making a choice.”*

And here we begin our journey, navigating the choices in front of us. Which way will we choose? Which direction beckons to our hearts?
There may be fear in the changes ahead and that is completely natural. We may not be happy with where we were at, and we may have envisioned change many times yet something stopped us from taking action. Inertia set in and we found ourselves settling, staying where we felt safe and comfortable; yet not inspired or passionate. But that is really no way to spend life now is it? It is time to move on from comfortable and do something bigger.
Bigger and brighter and better than what we have been doing, scary as it may feel. No more stagnancy, no more compromising our dreams. It is time to move forward. Look very closely at the options at hand, and if nothing seems to be presenting itself, look again. Maybe you need to take the first step, maybe the door will open when you move towards it. Think of the Rainbow Bridge, which literally manifests itself as you step onto it with absolute faith.
Stand in your power and move forward with all the courage you can muster. Put your heart and soul into it along with your highest intentions. And step forward into the labyrinth, knowing you will find your way back to yourself.
