On this Easter Day, perhaps I can be allowed a reflection on the nature of the God that Jesus served – and all of us serve.
I’m sure everyone knows that Jesus served his Heavenly Father. On one occasion, he said: “I must be about my Father’s business?” (1)
Why is it therefore that we here today see many channeled messages from the Divine Mother but very, very few from the Heavenly Father? (2)
Where has the voice of the Heavenly Father in fact been heard? We either hear from angels from out of a burning bush or from the Mother herself. Why is the Father apparently silent?
I can only tell the story that terrestrial sages used to tell. My knowledge is changing and I no longer look at some spiritual questions the way I did.
As the story went some time ago, the Father is a transcendental stillness and silence. There’s no movement in the Void. (3)
It was enlightenment orthodoxy that the Father, being still and silent, had no voice. The best example of this view is the graphic to the right. The Divine Mother Shakti dances on the still and silent body of the Heavenly Father Shiva. He lies there unconscious, saying nothing.
According to this view of things, the Divine Mother is the Father’s voice. Various Biblical epithets refer to this. Here Ezekiel calls the Mother “the glory of God” and describes her voice. Ezekiel, like Jesus, considered the Glory of God, also known as the Holy Spirit, to be masculine. (God has no gender.)
“Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east: And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.” (4)
“The gate the looketh toward the east” is, in the Biblical code, the Third Eye. His voice was like “a noise of many waters.” The Mother is the noise; the Father is the silence. “Many waters” reflects the wave-like vibration of that voice.
Isaiah is referring to the Divine Mother or Holy Spirit when he says, “the voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” (5) The same words are associated with John the Baptist.
The Father is a wilderness in the sense that “he” is beyond the reach of the universal law. For that reason, he can also be described as “lawless.”
The Mother is the voice that can be heard in this lawless wilderness of the transcendental Father. She’s also the source of the universal law and her domain of materiality is lawful. But nothing can bind the Father.
The Mother is all movement and sound. She creates movement through sound. She uses the sine wave we know as “Aum” or “Amen” to bring worlds into being, preserve them for a time, and then transform them, as she’s transforming Gaian society right now.
If you want to hear her, simply listen to the ringing in your ears.
You thought that was tinitis. No, it’s the sound of the noise of many waters or voice in the wilderness. It’s the sound of Aum, the Mother’s builder, preserver, and transformer. (6)
Aum is the cosmic motor and universal creative vibration, which, raised, raises all of us in dimension (gradually). This Aum ringing in the universe – and in our ears – is the agent of transformation at its most familiar to us.
The Mother of course is larger than the universe, than all the universes. She is not Aum. She uses Aum.
When I asked her if she was Shakti on An Hour with and Angel, her reply surprised me:
“When I have spoken about … Shakti, I have spoken about a part of me. As I have said, I am the bridge, I am the clasp between the Father and the universe and your world.
“And Shakti has been experienced — yes, inter-dimensionally for eons, as you well know – but she is not the totality of my being. My being is bigger than you can fathom, dear one.
“So I do not simply mean that she is an aspect manifesting. But it is simply larger than any of you can imagine, particularly at this point.” (7)
“Particularly at this point”: As long as we’re ensconced in dense human bodies and not operating multidimensionally, we don’t have the wits, depth, or refinement to fathom the mystery she is.
Sri Ramakrishna said of her: “The macrocosm and the microcosm rest in the Mother’s womb; Now do you see how vast it is?” (8)
Notice that in Christianity, she’s called the “Holy Spirit.” Spiritus means breath in Latin. Aum and the breath have the same pattern (see graphic).
That’s why we hear so often that the Divine Mother’s breath is the patterning of the universe. Here is the Mother saying it on An Hour with an Angel: “You’re patterned on me. You are my breath.” (9)
The universe is built and held together by that same Aum vibration – and the Mother’s Will – operating in the same form as the breath. In, pause, out. Creation, preservation, dissolution. The pattern of the ephemeral leading us to the patternless Eternal.
We’re here to know the Truth of the Mother and then, through her, the Truth of the Father. This is Jacob’s Ladder of enlightenment for us human beings.
Each time we realize the Truth, God has the pleasure of meeting God in a moment of our enlightenment. Sri Ramakrishna quipped about that moment:
“When Siva realizes his own Self, He dances about in joy exclaiming,
This is the manner in which the All There Is meets Itself.
So it’s the Mother we hear from. It’s the Mother we work for.
If Jesus were walking the hills of Galilee today (and he probably is), he very well might say, to this generation: “I must be about my Mother’s business.”

(1) Luke 2:49. Here’s Jesus’s declaration of avatarhood: “Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.” (Jesus in John 8:23.) Avatar = Descent of God in human form. We are ascenders to God.
(2) Not the God of this universe, but the One.
(3) That view has made less and less sense to me because the Father is all love and love, I discovered in 2015, is in constant movement, eternal flow. Why would love not be flowing in the Transcendental? But, if it was flowing, how was the Transcendental the transcendental?
(4) Ezekiel 43:1-2. His usage is similar to Zoroastrianism, where the Mother is called “Royal Glory.”
Here’s another example of the noise of many waters from Psalms:
“The Lord on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.” (5) (Psalm 93:3-4.)
Waters and the sea (waves) are ways of referring to the Mother’s Aum vibration – and past that to material existence.
(5) Isaiah 40:3. Yogananda held that the “highway” to “make straight” is the sushumna canal running up the back. Yogananda believed the teaching was to sit in meditation with a straight back to allow the kundalini to flow up the spine.
(6) Aum = Akar, Ukar, and Makar = Rajas, Sattwa, Thamas = Creation, Preservation, and Transformation = Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva.
