Narendra Mishra: On the Bodhisattva Vow – Part 2/2

(Concluded from Part 1)

However, there was a drawback for me personally in making this choice to not ascend. It resulted in me feeling unworthy and unloved.

To explain why, I have to go back to early 2012, when I started practicing Yoga daily. On one occasion I was doing Yoga with the specific intention to clear all vasanas and old energies.

Spontaneously, I started weeping and thoughts of being unworthy and unloved came welling up. I was bemused. I mentally watched my self go through the process of letting go, wondering where in the world this originated from. I would find out two weeks later.

I somehow found out about Reiki during the next two weeks and went to a Reiki session with a very gifted German healer.

During the session several Masters made their appearance which greatly surprised and excited both of us. It had never before happened to either of us.

Anyway, what she had to say really blew me away. She said that in my previous lives as a monk I would often come to the very verge of ascension and never achieved it. I would know that I was supposed to ascend like the other masters did, but when I did not I began to think that I was unworthy of it.

So that feeling stayed with me to this lifetime! When she said this I started weeping again – only then relaying my experience while practicing Yoga two weeks earlier.

After a few more Reiki sessions I decided to become attuned myself. That was when Kuan Yin came to me.

I had just gotten my levels 1 & 2 attunement in Reiki. A few days after I saw a strange Being in meditation. She was a beautiful Asian lady, dressed in translucent green robes, seated on a lotus flower, with one leg pulled up. The name Kuan Yin came to me.

I had read about her briefly before but I did not know much about her then. She did not say anything and soon disappeared from my mind. (1)

After my meditation I went on the Internet to search for images of Kuan Yin to confirm my vision. What I saw was proof indeed that it was her.

I did not find any one image of her in that form, but a composite of two images. In one image she was standing in the translucent green robes, and in the other image she was seated in the posture I described, but this time with white robes.

I figured that she might have appeared to me for a reason and I spent the next few days in meditation calling to her and asking for her message. She did not respond however.

During that time I kept seeing her name coming up. In one case I was in the mall and glanced through the window of a bookstore only to find staring at me a big book on the life of Kuan Yin. Really? In an ultra modern bookstore, just at that time?

I mentioned it to my Reiki Master who smiled knowingly but revealed nothing. I figured that Kuan Yin would message me when she was ready. I decided to read up on her life on Wikipedia.

That was when she came to me. Just as I was moved by her sacrifice and dedication in taking the Bodhisattva vow, she came to me very clearly and spoke in my ear, “You are a Bodhisattva.”

I was stunned. I felt the Truth of it in my bones. I knew immediately that was the reason why I decided to not go to the next level when offered the chance.

When I mentioned it to my Reiki Master a couple of days after, another Reiki Master who was present remarked, “That’s how I recognized you when I first saw you.” It turns out that they are also both Bodhisattvas.

Being told that I was a Bodhisattva evoked ambivalent feelings within me. On the one hand I was happy to have finally found the reason for my non-ascension in this lifetime, and to be able to serve. On the other hand, I was tired and wanted to return to my previously attained state of unity consciousness. I wanted to go home.

I thought it very telling that Bodhisattvas were being reborn during this time of planetary ascension, and were awakening to their nature.

It came to me that the Divine Mother was honouring the vows of all Bodhisattvas in ensuring that the entire Earth ascended this time around. How can you not love such a gracious Mother?

I share this in the hope that all Lightworkers will begin to answer the call of the Company of Heaven recently, to step forward and out of hiding. The time is now. This is how we serve the Divine Mother and her plan for Ascension.

Footnotes

(1) Narendra may have had a sixth-chakra enlightenment experience of a form of God, which signals the opening of the brow chakra. Kuan Yin is an avatar or descent of God into matter. (However only an enlightened master could say for certain and I am not one.)

My heart opening was fourth-chakra. Narendra has already experienced that event. He’s also tasted samadhi. Now the kundalini rises to the sixth chakra.

I’ve learned from AAM that events do not need to go in a necessary order, as we always thought they did. The Mother has also said that we can “leapfrog” around.

“You don’t know it — well, some of you do — but you are leap-frogging.” (“The Divine Mother: We are Creating a New Species of Humans (Repost),” September 15, 2017, at http://goldenageofgaia.com/2017/09/15/the-divine-mother-we-are-creating-a-new-species-of-humans-repost-2/.)

One proof that they don’t need to go in a certain order is the fact that Sri Ramakrishna’s non-dual guru, Totapuri, had the sixth-chakra experience of realizing the form of the Mother after he had God-Realization, a seventh-chakra experience. (Nikhilananda, Swami, trans. The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. New York: Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Center, 1978; c1942, 31.)
