Hear Ye! Hear Ye! See You at the Discussion Group! – Steve Beckow

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! See You at the Discussion Group!

The Forum can be reached here: https://goldenageofgaia.com/forums-home/

Suzi has just announced the Forum that she’s been working on since Christmas.

Not since she hosted Heavenly Blessings has she been “on the air,” so to speak.

This is exciting – probably for her and definitely for me.

I was so excited the other day – because we were getting close – that I behaved like a seven-year-old, asking “Are we there yet?”

I’m excited because it takes me back to my roots.

This blog started out as a discussion group, Galactic Roundtable, founded to provide a forum for the intel briefings of former Naval Commander Mark Huber.

Some readers probably remember it. I believe I wrote a column there as well. (1)

I think a discussion group will provide a depth to what we’re building together that a blog-only cannot provide.

What did I love about a discussion group? Belongingness. I belonged somewhere.  Family. Friendship. Compassion.

The moderators, some of whom still operate its successor, were marvellous. Those were my best friendships. We still keep in touch.

In the meantime, reading the posts was like my morning pick-me-up and meet-up.

This was my group and we were travelling together. (2)

I was on discussion groups all the way back … get ready … to the dial-in bulletin boards. Remember? Spiritual bulletin boards, 9/11 and depleted-uranium forums, and finally I started my own Yahoo! discussion group in service to Mark.

What do I like about groups? The community that forms around one provides instant feedback and strong emotional support for stepping out. You develop community, friendships, a shoulder to cry on, a willing ear. It’s the best features of family.

The Hope Chest got started because a person on a bulletin board needed $6,000 to get the mercury out of her fillings (she still posts on the group’s successor). She was developing a serious disease from it.

I asked the readers of the blog, “Do you want to do this?” And one man, Les M. from the Mid-West, sent in a cheque for $1,000 and at that moment I knew we were a go. I’ll never forget that moment, Les.  That group was my family.

So I will be lurking.  I’ll try to keep up with the daily conversation. I can’t afford to unleash a wave of questions, as I’m sure you know. I had 46 emails left to answer at 6 PM on a Sunday. Add to that Skype, Text Messages, etc., and the impact on a reclusive writer is enough to invite another hospital stay, super-bug thrown in to keep me there. (3)

But I will luuuurrrrkkkkk.

See you there tomorrow!

(1) Predictable things happen in a group. Some people tried to take control of ours.  Others monopolized the conversation. Still others were not credible in the roles they were playing. But those things got ironed out.  A group has a dynamic and a cycle.  Oh, I did graduate work in Sociology in small groups. I love groups.

(2) And then I got sick with colitis (I was in voluntary quarantine then too) and could no longer run the group. So the moderators took over and helped me learn WordPress and … start a blog, the 2012 Scenario, which became the Golden Age of Gaia.

(3) Steve: Did you bring on the onset of MSSA (Methicillin-sensitive Staphylococcus aureus) to have me relax and just spend some time in the hospital?

AAM: Yes.

Steve: I thought you did! Oh, boy. That is so funny!

AAM: There is a part of you, even when we suggested to you that timeout was required that doesn’t know what that means.

Steve: Yes, that’s right. That’s why you called me “wildcard” to [Blue Star], right?

AAM: Yes and your Higher Self, your Universal Self has given permission for these overrides.  [I’ve already given him permission myself.]

Steve: I thought it was funny when it happened. I could see your hand in it. (Archangel Michael in a personal reading with Steve Beckow through Linda Dillon, Nov. 26, 2019.)

If I hadn’t caught a superbug, I might have been out of the hospital in a week. Instead my stay went on for something like three weeks. Don’t think an archangel won’t intervene in your life. If it’s for your wellbeing and the Plan, they will.
